after being on a field trip around the peninsula of istria and the island of krk in croatia in 2013, this section is focussing on socialist holiday architecture of the 60ies and 70ies in former yugoslavia. most of the hotels have been renovated during the 80ies and 90ies and therefor show very few original elements, except for the haludovo resort on krk which is completely originally although it is a ruin.
