las islas canarias, the canary islands, my second home, are placed in the atlantic ocean west of morocco.
here you can find a lot of fantastic shots from la gomera, el hierro and la palma. I've been to the islands as a kid in 1988 (lanzarote and gran canaria) and 1992 (tenerife and la palma), later on i visited la gomera and el hierro in 2013 and la palma in 2015.

though there are seven islands all in all, I prefer to stick to the small ones... tourism isn't that distinct there, the nature is great and the people are the best!
